What is Creative Cloud?
Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX and more. You can take your ideas to new places with Photoshop on the iPad, draw and paint with Fresco and design for 3D and AR.
Adobe Creative Cloud can be broken down in to seven areas:
Photo: create incredible images with the best photography tools
Graphic Design: create designs and documents for print and digital media
Video: create video, audio, visual effects and animations
Illustration: create drawings, paintings and illustrations for print, the Web, mobile and video
UI & UX: create engaging experiences for the Web, mobile, voice and more
3D & AR: create 3D models and characters
Social Media: shoot, edit and share videos
What is the difference between Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite?
Adobe Creative Cloud is Adobe's platform of cloud-based creative design and desk-top publishing applications and tools (such as Photoshop, Illustrator and other apps), which is licensed as a subscription-based service either for individual CC products, or for the whole of the Creative Cloud suite.
Adobe Creative Suite is Adobe's legacy 'On-Premise' suite of creative design and desk-top publishing applications and tools (such as Photoshop, Illustrator and other apps), which is licensed with an EULA (End User License Agreement). The software is physically installed on your device both for individual Creative Suite products or the whole suite of software applications.
